“For nearly 50 years, Dr. John Sarno has been focusing on the mind-body connection and the nature of stress and the manifestation of physical ailments. Filmmaker Michael Galinsky collects testimonies from patients like Larry David and Howard Stern as well as other practitioners when he is struck with pain himself, bringing an unexpectedly personal dimension to his investigation.”

Mae Adran Seicoleg Glinigol (DCP) Cymru ac Occasional Cinema yn dangos y ffilm ‘All the Rage’ – ffilm ddogfen am effaith trawma seicolegol ar brofiad poen cronig. Dyma un adolygiad o’r ffilm:    “Ers bron i 50 mlynedd, mae Dr. John Sarno wedi bod yn rhoi sylw i’r cysylltiad rhwng y meddwl a’r corff a natur straen sy’n cael ei ddangos mewn anhwylderau corfforol. Mae’r gwneuthurwr ffilm, Michael Galinsky, yn casglu tystiolaeth gan gleifion fel Larry David a Howard Stern yn ogystal ag ymarferwyr eraill pan mae ef ei hun yn cael ei daro gan boen, a daw hyn â gogwydd annisgwyl o bersonol i’w ymchwiliad.”

Bydd Caffi Blue Sky yn cynnig cawl, caws a bara lleol am £5 y pen, a gweinir hwn rhwng 6:30pm a 7:45pm. Yn ogystal, bydd y bar ar agor yn gwerthu alcohol a diodydd poeth a chacennau drwy gydol y noson.

Mae’r digwyddiad hwn am ddim i’r cyhoedd a bydd cyfle hefyd i gael trafodaeth a sesiwn holi ac ateb gyda Seicolegwyr yn dilyn y ffilm.
